If needed, our professionals are happy to remove larger pieces of furniture such as, sofas, dressers and tables. Should an item require disassembly- an additional fee may apply. To remove oversized or fragile pieces from the area, homeowners should make alternate arrangements prior to installation. A few days ahead of installation the flooring will arrive at your home. Preparing for Installation
 

Make sure the top to be carpeted is gentle and clean. Scrape up any car paint or joint ingredient and sweep and vacuum the ground thoroughly. When possible, remove the entrances from the area which means you won’t have to work around them. Slice the tackless whitening strips to size with a remove cutter or heavy snips. Nail the whitening strips 1/2″ from the wall membrane. Don’t install tackless whitening strips across thresholds or doorways; the tacks on the whitening strips are sharp and may poke through the carpet and injured your toes. Tackless whitening strips come in a number of widths, thicknesses and levels. Make certain you’re using the right size. If you are installing carpet more than a concrete subfloor, use masonry tacks or epoxy adhesive to carry the tackless whitening strips in place.{…}
