Slice the tackless whitening strips to size with a remove cutter or heavy snips. Nail the whitening strips 1/2″ from the wall membrane. Don’t install tackless whitening strips across thresholds or doorways; the tacks on the whitening strips are sharp and may poke through the carpet and injured your toes. Tackless whitening strips come in a number of widths, thicknesses and levels. Make certain you’re using the right size. If you are installing carpet more than a concrete subfloor, use masonry tacks or epoxy adhesive to carry the tackless whitening strips in place.{…}

Upon arrival the installation space should be clear of all furniture as well as any wall decor. Electronics should be unplugged and removed. If needed, our professionals are happy to remove larger pieces of furniture such as, sofas, dressers and tables. Should an item require disassembly- an additional fee may apply.
